Touchpad and keyboard stopped working when I took off keyboard from laptop.

I opened my laptop keyboard while it was running. Now the keyboard and touchpad both aren't working even though I've plugged them back in. Please help.

try cmos let hope you did not made a short by plug it back specially if the power was on .
