Question touchpad gestures don't work

the touchpad gestures on my Hp pavilion 15-da0017nx are suddenly disabled, they were working before
I have tried every solution on the internet but in vain
there is no on/off switch in the touchpad settings and I have the latest drivers for the touchpad and there is no option to disable these drivers in the device manager
