Hi, I have a Lenovo Ideapad Yoga device (which has a touchscreen). In last few months, I have noticed that sometimes the touchscreen goes dead after Windows update, but every time I could execute "services.msc" and switch the two services "Human Interface Device Service" and "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service" to "automatic" start mode, and then restart the device, and then the touch screen will work again. However, recently I had another Windows update, and now touch screen goes dead again, and no matter how many times I try to set those two services to "automatic" mode, as soon as the computer restarts, the "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service" goes back to manual mode, and touch screen does not work. Can anybody help with this? Thanks very much!

P.S. two more pieces of information: (1) I do not have to reboot the device to see the service go back to "manual". As soon as I restart that particular service from the services.msc interface, its start mode will go back to "manual" although it shows "running" (and the touch still does not work). (2) This happens after optional update KB3000850 is installed. However, I cannot uninstall that update from update list now, no "uninstall" button is showing. Thanks.

This is happening again now after Windows Update installed another batch of updates. "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service" keeps staying in manual mode (even though it reports itself as "running") and the touch screen is not working. Can anybody help? Thanks!
