[SOLVED] Tough Decision between rog swift PG279Q and PA279Q Asus

So I want PA279Q, cause he has great colors for photo editing, but only 86hz according to specs. Or Asus rog Swift PG279Q, cause it is great for gaming but I wonder if i will manage to calibrate colors for photo editing? Anyone else have, had these "problems" ? or maybe someone working with Editing photo/video on gaming Monitors and could recommend me?

Do you need a high frequency monitor for photo editing...or for gaming? I don't think you need it for photo editing.

I just got the PG279Q and it does not come calibrated so you'd have to have that done. Nice looking monitor though.

high-f only for gaming, but my card xt 5700 xt red dragon, with i7-9700, i dont think can even managed more than 80 fps, am i right?

Depends on the game. You have plenty of horse power to run the 1440p. It's the Freesync that smooths things out. You'll be fine with your hardware but look for a monitor that isn't G-sync, will save you some money.

It's a nice monitor but you need one with Freesync for your AMD gpu.
