Tower fell over, GPU & CPU usage spikes like it never used to!

Hi All -

Currently beating my head against a wall trying to figure this one out...

Specifications:
- Processor: Intel Core I5 6550
- Motherboard - ASUS H110M-A
- Memory: DDR4 8 GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 TI

Earlier today, my dog knocked over my computer tower while I was playing Destiny 2. It was working fine & ran normal before. Computer froze instantly.

Restarted it, and did an internal check to make sure everything was OK. Computer started up just fine, and it seems to be working fine. I tried to boot Destiny again, and then my GPU and CPU usage were through the roof. The game was also unbearably laggy.

I've tried...
- Re-positioning the CPU Heatsink & applying thermal paste
- Checking to see if all wire connections are secure.
- Crying, a lot.

What should I try next? Any ideas of what it could be?

-SSDs are not prone to drops, but HDDs are. if you have a HDD, have you ran any tests on the drive?
-Reseating ram would also be a good idea. A loose one will cause a heap of issues.
