townportal issue

Gidday,

I have in the inventory a tomb of town portal. I put a function key <F5>
for town portals. However when i am in a game the funtion for town
portals is activated but i can't use it. The tomb is fully stashed so is
this some kind of bug. I also tried another function key

Has anybody experienced this also ? Known bug ?

So you got it on a skill function key. have you clicked your mouse button?
Maybe a strange answer, but worth to find out.

Sounds familiar, but I can't find the source for the explanation.
Could it be you have one tome in your inventory and one in your stash?

Never heard about this before, but what happens if you open your inventory
and right-click the tome - does that work?

Try ditching the tome you have and buy a new one, see what happens.

There are a few gotchas with tomes. You have to set the fkey to the tome,
not to any loose tps that might have been in inventory. You can't have a
tome in your cube at the same time (happens sometimes when you are going for
wirts leg to make cow portal), if you have a tome in inventory and a tome in
your cube it will not work.

Supposedly if you have your cube in your stash and have a tome in there, it
will work to cast tps subtracting tps from the stash tome, but then you
don't get to carry your cube in inventory for the extra 8 spots.

Those are the tome issues I know of.
