I have two Archer C5 AC1200 Routers from TP-Link. I'm using one as my main router, and have configured the second in repeater mode to extend coverage.
However, everytime we have a power outage, the repeater has some settings error that I'm not being able to figure.
Essentially, if I try and log on to the repeater network after the router powers back up, my device (PC, Mac, Phone) gets stuck in a "Getting IP Configuration"
And since I'm not getting connected to the WiFi network, I have to reset the router back to factory settings, and then configure it all over again.
What am I doing wrong? And is there any way to save the pain of reconfiguring the device everytime there's a power outage?
