TP-Link Archer C9 slows down after reconnecting wired connection or restarting router

I just got myself a new router, a TP-Link Archer C9 (v4.0), to replace my old one which couldn't handle our new 100Mbps service. Archer C9 gives me 100+Mbps download speed right off the bat, also on wireless (when the device is really close), but the moment I either disconnect and reconnect the cable to my PC or reboot the router, my PC's download speed drops to ~25Mbps. It stays like that until I either restart my PC or make it sleep and wake up.

As per TP-Link support, I tried disabling NAT Booster when it was happening and it bumped my download speed up to ~35Mbps -- still not what it should be.

Is there any other setting I've missed here? I hate having to restart my PC (or make it sleep and wake up) everytime there's a power surge or my router gets unplugged accidentally.

Thanks!

Hmm... I think I may have just fixed it by updating my Ethernet driver. I've tried restarting the router and reconnecting the cable -- it's fine now. Hope it stays like that.
