TP Link Av500 Ethernet not lighting up

So a while back I bought these powerline adapters and they worked really well. About a year later I'm moving into a different room in the house and I'm trying to set them up again but I've got a problem. I can't get a connection from this room. After trying to set it up for ages, I can get all everything lighting up for the one connected to my router but the one connected to my PC the Ethernet won't light up. It was working in the other room just that morning so they aren't broken. Also my new room is right next to my old one so I don't think it would be because they're on different powerlines.

So it works fine in the old room, but not the new room. The culprit is most likely interference (noise) and the source is probably in or near the new room. Start unplugging other things. Transformers, like cell phone chargers and wall to USB outlets, tend to be an issue. So are light dimmers. Let us know.
