I don't need it but this is a sweet bang for the buck mesh network.

The speed information is all well and good, but considering these devices are supposed to protect my whole home network, I'd like to get some information about how long should one expect to get security updates for these devices. Having a fast router is not useful after it becomes insecure and the manufacturer doesn't update the firmware.

In other words, security is more important to me than speed (they are all pretty fast anyway).

Do these types of mesh networks suffer the same lag problems that network repeaters have on online games? I had to get rid of a repeater in our house because my son's computer had massive skipping, lag, and rubberbanding. Once the repeater was out, the signal was much weaker, but the rubberbanding was gone.
