TP Link Driver Help

Hello, I recently swapped over from an Asus WiFi card to a TP Link Archer T9E / AC1900. I plugged it in and it's still using the Asus drivers, I have internet connection but I'd rather be using the actual TP Link/windows drivers. Can anyone help me out with doing this? I can't use the disk sent to me by TP link as I have no disk drive and I tried updating the drivers through windows to see if that worked, which it didn't. I believe the TP link used the windows pcie WiFi card drivers? But not sure how I can get these. Thanks for any help you can give

the chips on those cards are most likely the same and you can use the drivers from the ASUS card. Don´t worry.

which windows is it?

Windows 10, and returned the Asus card purely because it has really bad Windows 10 Drivers and everyone said to get the TP link one

probably windows installed the drivers for you automatically

uninstall the ASUS tools and apps for wlan

Done that, got the TP link drivers, the utility is compatible with windows 10 🙁 at least i have the drivers! For some reason though im only getting 10 up 10 down on the uni internet, yet my laptop gets 35 up and down. Do you have any idea why this is? i mean i only have 2 bars connection to the router so?

Get the antennas into a good position, eventually move the router antennas or itself in different directions to get a better signal.

how did you test the up/down? use speedtest.net multiple times to get a good result feeling
