tp link is super slow

recently got a computer and have been trying to use a tp link to connect to the internet. The fastest download speeds i can get with it is around 4-5 mgs. i get speeds of up too 80 mgs on my xbox when connected to wifi, so the wifi speed isn't the problem. Can anyone help? thanks

Going to need more info, TP link is just a brand, so no idea which device you are actually meaning?
