When I got my TP Link router last year I assigned a password to it , and it used to ask for password to get in, but now after like 11 months since my last log in it just doesn't ask for password, it just goes in without one . Why is that ?

still the same with incognito , I want to change my DNS and it doesn't work , there's that pop up that says "you need to reboot , press ok" after I press OK the new DNS I just entered a second ago goes back to default 0.0.0.0 and I reboot and nothing happens

Are you changing the DNS setting on the DHCP screen or someplace else. The default setting on the dhcp screen should be blank not 0.0.0.0....I think its been a while since I used tplink.

If all else fails I would use the reset button on the back and factory reset it. That should fix the password problem also since it will be set back to the factory default. I would also check for a firmware upgrade since maybe it is a bug.

- I've tried in DHCP to change Primary DNS and secondary
