So I recently upgraded to Windows 10, and I'm planning to get this wifi adapter in the title. I'm just wondering if the wifi adapter is compatible with Windows 10.

Solution
No. Like we said it should work with Win10. But, if it doesnt support everything you'll have to find a better driver

If you want the 8.1 drivers go there download them if the file is zipped unzip then run the setup file in it
According to this there are no Win10 drivers for it

The windows 8/8.1 drivers MAY work. But I wouldnt count on it lol

I had to find a separate install for mine (the WDN3200) because the 8.1 drivers for this, and windows 10 didnt have an option to connect to 5 GHZ.

The mediatek drivers I found did

You could try the drivers users have posted above, they'll probably work better than the TPlink drivers

NO Windows 8 and 10 drivers SHOULD work. Just make sure you get 32 or 64 bit. Depending on the version of Windows you use

BUT, whatever the adapter has the driver MAY not fully support. Like in my case both the 8.1 drivers and Win10 didnt support the 5 GHZ frequency of my adapter

Do I need to have Windows 8/8.1 to install the Windows 8.1 driver? If I don't need to, how do I do it?

I contacted TP-Link (China) and determined that even though the driver states it is for Win 7 & Win 8.1 it also works for Win 10. In addition people still having problems with trying to get 5GHz to work should do the following :

Select Control Panel / Devices / Network / Right click TP-Link Adapter / Properties / Advanced and ensure that Prefer 2.4G_5G is selected.

Doing this solved my problem
