So recently i've been trying to use a TL-WA901N V2 as my network card. It is currently set in client mode where it acts as a wireless network card on behalf of the computer connected via ethernet. Currently both the AP and the computer have static IPs that fall outside the DHCP server IP range, 192.168.0.101 and 192.168.0.102 respectively.

My issue is that every 10 mins or so, the AP, and thus my computer, looses connection to the router. the computer can ping the AP when this happens but cannot ping the router, the AP can't ping the router either. Solution so far has been to reboot the AP every time this occurs, as of now I have a ping watchdog set up on the AP so that it restarts itself if it misses 2 pings, 10 seconds apart.

In short, AP set as client looses connection to router, rebooting the AP resolves issue for a time.

Below is relevant information for the AP, router and computer

Solution
Sounds like one of 2 problems. Either the hardware is failing or you are having bursts of interference that cause the disconnect. I'm a bit surprised it does not automatically reconnect. If you can test it, I would put the AP very close to router and see if that helps. If it that fixes the problem, then it is probably an interference issue. If not, then it is probably hardware. Before buying something new, try a factory reset. If you don't have the 130131 firmware (Jan 11, 2013) I would consider an firmware upgrade. If that does not help, I think it's time to go shopping.
