I get and error message saying needs tomb.exe 1629063 went into the tomb.exe
and changed the properties to win 2000 then tried win NT still stops short
of loading the mission 2 Venice, advise pls

Yes it is something around your CD-Rom drive, so try an No-CD Patch, install
the full
content of your CD in a folder of your HD change the exe an play the game
complete
from your HD, that should work.

Patch download for example at www.laraunlimited.de than choose downloads.

I have found that downloading a savegame beyond the error, saving the game
in a slot, and then starting the game again from the beginning cures this
error when you next reach that point.

If you don't want to reply you can level skip back to where you want to be
and it should be ok.
