Just played The Lost Valley in TR1 as a challenge, to see if I could
help Lara complete it without firing a single shot...and all I can say
is *WHEW*!
She did manage it, getting all the loot and all three cogs...but, what
an ordeal!!! The toughest part was the final run for the exit! Four
raptors ( the two 'tunnel raptors' will not emerge to chase her into the
open areas thank goodness, or there would have been six of the buggers )
and old T-rex in hot pursuit...and don't think our girl was safe after
pulling up on the first platform ( rock ) at the exit rock-fall either -
Big T could still reach her there <<< reset >>>.
TIP: having Lara MkI jump occasionally while running ( on flat ground
only ) will gain her some small advantage in distance over the pursuing
raptors, which can secure her critical 'climbing time' when she gets
where she's going.
Evidence of completion, and a sighting of the rare 'four-headed
three-tailed raptor', are posted on alt.binaries.lara.croft.
