Just curious, it seems interesting but not sure how natural it is for my
eyes to keep focused on the monitor?

Anyone using the IR3 Pro version with FS2004? I'd like to get your
feedback.

Doesn't track your eyes. Tracks a stick on reflective dot. Interesting
article this week on Flightsim.com at

The 5th movie shows the author using the device, but it's the next
earlier version of TIR, I believe. -Seadog

I did see the video, and I realize it doesn't track my eyes (wish it would).
I was refering to turning my head while keeping my eyes focused straight on
the monitor -- that isn't a natural pan for the human system -- might take
some getting used to (especially looking over my left shoulder -- I can
only move about 90 degrees left/right before my eyes can't stay focused on
the monitor).

seadog,
cool link, thanks !

rob,

i have an earlier version of TrackIR, that i purchased with e-Dimensional
3D glasses.

both are very cool. while buzzing the grand canyon i found myself shifting
my body in to the turns. it takes a little getting use to. i prefer 2d 80%
of the time.

you may adjust the sensitivity so your head doesn't have to turn 180º to get
a back view.

also you will notice that in mr. dows videos , while using TrackIR , the
virtual cockpit dash moves creating a positive/negative G effect while
climbing or descending.

before purchasing TrackIR or e-Dimensional glasses, go to

http://www.edimensional.com/

to be sure they are compatible with your new video card.

goodluck !
