Train Simulator reverser problem

I installed Train sim on my hubbys pc and the reverser
will not work go into reverse only forward. Has anyone
else had this problem and solved it if so can you post
the answer on the newsgroup.

Stop the train completely and press the "S" 2 times so it will go Forward>Neutral>Reverse. Then release brake and go!
