In the /data/training folder where FM is installed there *.tat files for
each individual training type. When this files opened it shows among other
things the stats that are affected and by how much. My question is can these
be edited? For example if I wanted all the player stats to go up by 10 could
I just open one of the *.tat files in notepad, add all the attributes and
put thier corresponding values at 10? If so would I need to start a new game
or is this save-game compatible? Thanks for any help.

In reply to your Question,

Editing them with a text editor to make them all 9's or 10's works.

But you need to make a new game for them to take effect.

You can tell the files to name them something different in your training
schedules too.

And it would be cheating....

I didn't know about this. What is interesting though: None of the training
schedules I've made improves finishing, heading, crossing and tackling...
The same way, sprints doesn't influence pace and acceleration, only fitness
and reflexes!

I thought Weight training affected the strength attribute too, but no.

I think with pace and acceleration, it's more of a case of the make up of
the person's leg muscles - %age of fast twitch fibres to slow twitch fibres!
So it's not the training you do, it's more of what you're born with!

I could be wrong though!

I've found this too. I can't get a training system that works. I always get
more red downward arrows than green upward ones no matter what I try. I even
tried downloading a the Bas training systems from FMFaq.com. It seems like
editing my own training stats will be the only way to get things working the
way I want. Thankx.
