Transcend HDD brand

Sorry, I know few might had already asked about it but the answers were not quite accurate to me, that's why I have created this thread to get an clear answer. I need an external HDD and SSD. Transcend is the only brand available here currently, should I buy those? Is that brand safe enough? Overall all I need is the answer "Yes it's fine" or "No it's not" that should be enough for me to know lol. (Both portable HDD and SSD of Transcend)
An short opinion about SSD- Twinmos or transcend, which one would be better?

It's probably fine.

They aren't the leading brand but they are still somewhat competitive.

Opinon: I would personally choose Transcend over Twinmos.
