Hi guys
I recently got a StoreJet 25M3 1TB from Transcend but I'm having a problem with it. When I play an audio or video file stored on the drive using any media player, the player will randomly freeze and then replay the last few seconds of playback in an endless loop, windows explorer also freezes during this time until I stop the media player using ctrl, alt and del. I've tried playing the same files on my other hdds and they work fine, Ive also done a disk check on the storejet which came back fine and Ive also updated my antivirus and scanned my whole system.
I reformatted the drive when i first got it using windows (im running windows 7 sp1) to NTFS, as the drive was FAT32 to begin with. I also installed a new usb 3.0 pci-e card when I first got the drive which it is connected to via a usb 3.0 extension cable. Any help on why this is happening or what I should try would be greatly appreciated
