So I have an Alienware x51 that is running extremely hot 90c++. I would like to move most of the components into another case. I have also heard that I will require a new PSU. So I have a few questions.
1. Would it be possible to more the current mobo into an atx mid or atx full case
2. If I was to put it in a larger case what other components would I need to water cool it
3. What would be a good atx mid/full case
4. What would be a good power supply for those cases and its part
[strike]5 Will I have to buy a new version of windows
[/strike]
Here are the specs

Thanks in advance

Thanks I added that to the question just after you answered

Also could I extract the product key and reactive it

1- you should be able to . I was able to move a dell mobo to a new case easily
2- theres really no reason at all to watercool a 4790 since it cant be overclocked.
3- I really like my fractal design r5. very quiet! lots of room for stuff in there
4- I have an antec hcg 620 that I really like
5- you'll need a new copy of windows. you cant extract the product key . OEM keys (come with prebuilts) are saved to 1 mobo and cant be moved. ive tried :/

before you go through all of this though. take off the side panel of the case and see if that cools everything down. if it does... then you have an airflow problem and a new case will help. if it doesn't, then chances are you have a different issue that a new case wouldn't solve

I dont have much knowledge about watercooling,So Sorry on that one :/.Here are some of the PC Cases that yu can replace it with http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=m+itx+pc+case&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Am+itx+pc+case

If I want to get a new motherboard for more upgradability what would you suggest.

Also the x51 is about the size of a micro-atx so it would still be compatible right

Also I mostly wanted water cooling for noise reduction

1. Would it be possible to more the current mobo into an atx mid or atx full case
The mobo with the X51 should be miniITX-sized. There are cases out there that supports pretty much all motherboard sizes. You can move it all to a larger case, but at that point, it would be a shame not to fully utilize it and put a larger motherboard in for future expansion.

2. If I was to put it in a larger case what other components would I need to water cool it
You'll likely find increased airflow (larger case), or even an aftermarket air cooler is sufficient (like a Cooler Master hyper 212 EVO). Much cheaper solution. That being said, if you want to go with liquid cooling, there will be better suited people on this forum than me. There are self-contained CPU liquid coolers from various manufacturers though. I've heard Corsair's line are pretty good.

3. What would be a good atx mid/full case
A "good" case for one, is not a good case for all.
The Cooler Master N200 is a fairly popular MicroATX (that supports MiniITX motherboards too).
I have the ThermalTake Core V21 - MicroATX/MiniITX compatibility, and is very roomy inside. - It is a cube though.
Really, the case always boils down to personal preference.

4. What would be a good power supply for those cases and its part

Anything Tier 1 or Tier 2. 500W is more than enough for your setup (430W would likely suffice too).

5 Will I have to buy a new version of windows
If you buy a new motherboard, yes. If you take your motherboard to a new case, no.
MS view the 'system' as the motherboard essentially. When you buy from an OEM, you can't (generally) move that license to anything else. Sometimes MS will authorize in the event your motherboard dies, but I wouldn't bet on it.

If I wanted new motherboard for more ports what would you suggest

I would like to do both of those. Also if I was to switch to Nvidia would I be able to do SLI on a crossfire motherboard?

I have 2x8

I have 2x8 so this would work
