I'm thinking of getting a dell precision T7500 workstation PC and transferring the contents of the PC to aftermarket case (probably an E-atx) Anyone ever do this or know if it's possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
It is not. The Precision series, especially the high-end models, do not use ATX power connectors or screw patterns. The rear IO panel cover is not removable, either.

If you want that kind of machine, you're better off building it yourself.

Many of them also use BTX layouts these days as well.

Agree. Just use the Dell case/system as it is. The T3500/T5500/T7500 boards are completely different size and layout than ATX.

Here is a comparison image I made. Yep, that is correct orientation of the Dell board as installed.
