[SOLVED] Transfer downloaded software to another computer

Hello,
is there a way to download mac software to a windows computer and then transfer it to my imac? i dont have internet at home where my imac is

Most Mac stuff is pretty much self contained so just downloading the dmg and copying onto a memory stick works, not sure about app store stuff.
