[SOLVED] Transfer failed ReadyNAS files through Dock

Hi all.
I run a small family business and am not that knowledgeable about IT.
We had a Netgear ReadyNAS RND4425 where the power supply failed.
I bought a docking station to tranfer some of the files to a PC with higher storage capacity.
I know that the NAS uses a drive and file format that Windows does not recognize on it's own.
Can anyone tell me the best way to does this?
I tried recovery software (suggested by a Google search) and it seems to be finding only the backup files from the PCs on the network.
Thanks.

The problem is that your ReadyNAS had four 250GB disks in a RAID array. Each disk has only 1/4 the information required to read back.
This thread -- https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/disks-from-nas-netgear-rnd4000-recreating-raid.3263868/ is a similar question. It does not sound promising to get your data off.
MAYBE you can purchase another unit and swap in your drives. But even that is risky to the data. Having your unit repaired would be the safest approach. Buy a functioning unit just for the power supply.
