Transfer files over to new pc and 750 ti quesrion

Is there a way to transfer my old laptops files to a desktop ny desktop will be in in a couple days can you please help i also have a 750 ti that i am going to install the desktop is a 3010 optiplex dt im able to use it right in that one so please help it woule be appreciated

The 750ti is pretty simple. Just turn off the PC. Open the side.. Remove the back plate from the first slot. Install the video card in there. Reboot the PC. Go in to BIOS select the add-on card (or sometimes the PCIE bus) as your primary video. When windows loads, give it a few minutes and then go to NVidia.com and get the latest drivers.

Transfer the files.
Low tech: get a USB disk
Better: set them up on a local network and share out a folder on the NEW PC and then drop the files you want in this folder.

Thanks for all the quick answers as i already have a 750 ti i cannot get a different one so thats outta the question i do not have an external drive so ill share it on my network so thanks the 750 ti sc so i will probably have to under clock it for it to work thanks everyone
 


There are aftermarket PSUs for this model, but they are about the same. I don't recall if the PC can use a conventional PSU; but I don't believe so. I'm pretty sure there are space constraints that would keep that from working.
