Question Transfer Office 2016 License

I am getting ready to 'mothball' a Dell Laptop that has both Office 360 and Office(Local for lack of a better term). I have a License key associated with the Local copy of Office loaded on the Dell. Can I delete the Local version from the Dell and load it onto the new Acer lapttop that is in the mail.

Depends how you obtained it. If it's one you purchased, there are ways (and depends on your version). If it's one that came with the Dell, it's almost certainly tied to the laptop. The 360 one, of course, you can install anytime.

DSzymborski, Sorry for the untimely response. How do you navigate in Windows to see what specific Office Version, owner or other relevant info exists? Thanks in advance.
