transfer printer drivers between hard drives

On hard drive A with windows 7 Premium I have a Panasonic printer KX-P2023 installed on a parallel port. When I attempt to install this printer on hard drive B, windows will not locate or find the driver to install it. I attempted to use windows update with windows 7 Professional to install same printer, however windows update will not locate driver?

If the driver is already installed in Windows, Windows Update will not download the same driver again.
Why do you need to install it on drive B if it's already installed on drive A?

I read your PM.

Make sure the printer is fully connected & switched on so that Windows Update can detect it.
Other than that, I've no idea why the printer driver is not being delivered via Windows Update.
