Transfer speed low even with USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Speed up to 5Gbps)

Connected the two external USB 3.1 WD hard disks to the two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (Speed up to 5Gbps).
Trying to copy a 60GB file

Speed is 50MBps this is just 0.4 Gbps

Both the HDDs are set to "Better Performance" policy in Device Manager

Any clue why this dead slow speed?

1. I trust you understand that your USB 3.1 Gen 1 connection is nothing more than what we formerly named USB 3.0. The nomenclature has changed; the speed has not for USB 3.1 Gen 1 devices. For all intents & purposes they're USB 3.0 devices.

2. Do you get a substantially different USB speed report when you connect those USB drives to a USB 3.0 port?

Yes I do understand that and the speed for USB3.0 as per the below link is 5Gbps.

The speed Im getting is just 0.4Gbps (around 50 MBps)
