Question Transfer upgraded Windows 11 to another PC ?

i bought win 10 retail key and upgraded it to 11 during free upgrade period
can i transfer win 11 to another pc with same key, or will i have to have win 10 again?

if its linked to your email address, you should be able to use it on new PC

transfer as in install on new PC... moving an install doesn't work well. Better to clean install.

You would only have win 10 again if you used a win 10 installer

Are you talking about the license on a clean install on the new PC, or the drive+OS+license to the new PC?

You can clone via Macrium 8 free & new pc will adjust & update drivers via updates & should stay activated....

That is absolutely NOT a guaranteed outcome.

All different hardware often requires new OS reinstall.
We all wish it were otherwise, but it isn't.
