Is there a way to copy service pack 1 to another computer?
I have very slow internet and I wouldn't want to download the update all over again.
Also, I kind of need the service pack now to use Unreal Engine 4 on my new PC.

if you had posted this before the new build was up i would have said to contact ms for a small fee they can send you and updated windows cd. right now your best bet is look on ebay for a updated windows 7 installer disk or ask if a friend has one. or go to a friends home with a 8g usb stick and make a new iso usb stick all you need is the windows iso to usb tool that free and windows iso that you can download from ms.

Hi

Are you talking about Service pack 1 for Win 7 ?
or Win 7 with integrated SP1?

The OEM System Builder DVD or Retail DVD is the usual method

You need to know what type of Windows ? (OEM or retail)

If your licence key is retail you can download a ISO from Microsoft
but Win 7 key differs from Win 7 with integrated SP1

So if you borrow a DVD it must be the correct version regarding oem or retail and Home or Pro or Ultimate to match the licence key (which I hope you have on both PC's)

(32 or 64 bit does not matter)

Service pack 1 for Win 7 x64 and SP1 for Win 7 x86 (= 32bit) are available for download from Microsoft
windows-7-sp1-KB976932-X86.exe (550MB)
windows-7-sp1-KB976932-X64.exe (925MB)

Also remember after SP1 there are many other updates which will download when you go on line
there are ways of downloading them from Microsoft on a PC with fast internet connection then installing them later

One example is Autopatcher

If I get an updated Windows 7 disc to upgrade my OS, will I lose my files and programs that are currently in my PC?
