Transfering music from hardrive to pc

Yes external, the pc shows the external has the music, but will not allow me to put it in a file.

yes external, the pc shows that the external has the music but won't let me put it in the pc.

We have been able to add itunes to the computor with no problem but the site says to "choose" files, but that would mean loading songs individually. Can't seem to be able to just import the files in a whole, any ideas?

I don't currently have itunes installed but do believe there's also an "add folder" option.

iTunes also has a 'search for music' option.
It might, or might not, be set up to move the music to it's own location, depending on your settings.
