So i transferred my hard drive from Sata II to a Sata III do to System interrupt issues. and now I am getting no sound. anyone know why it's doing this? the computer is booting up i am currently writing this with it. But my sound seems to be messed up. And when i plug my Headphones into the front panel case headphone jack i get this constant beep noise. and when i plug it into the back of the motherboard i get this little static noise.

how can i fix this? do i have to download drivers again?

well actually when i was switching SATA's. I took my graphics card out with no problem. But when i was reinstalling it. It was a tight squeeze to but it back in due to wires and such. And i pushed down on my graphics card a little bit and it hit my motherboard, I guess it hit my Sound chip. W.e

I was wondering. If i buy one of those $4 USB sound cards would the sound work even if i have a broken sound chip?
