Transferring data question

hello I'm wondering if transferring data to the hard drive from my ssd will affect the performance of my ssd? Thank you.

I asked this because I know that copying OS from hard drive to SSD degrades performance so that's why I asked. I'm trying to be super careful because I'm not very familiar with operating a custom pc.
