My older desktop motherboard burned out. I got another computer. How can I transfer the data on my old hard drive to the new one?
SATA cable to USB?
Or is there a different way thats easier?

I read the sticky columns but
figured an actual human would help more.

You could just use your old hard drive and put it in the new mobo/pc, since your mobo burned out.

Just by connecting the new computers hard drive cables to my old hard drive?

yes, you put your hard drive to the slot available, plug sata cables to motherboard, plug sata power cable from psu to hdd, that'll do it.
