Transferring files from 1 computer to another without drivers?

Hello,

So I just bought a new laptop and I downgraded it from Windows 8 to Windows 7 as I really dislike Windows 8. Anyways, the Windows 7 install has absolutely no drivers, but I've got them all downloaded to a flash drive. The only downside is that the laptop won't read any USB devices without the USB driver. I've tried connecting it directly to my router via Ethernet Cable and obviously because there's no network driver, that won't work either.

Is there any other alternatives I'm forgetting?

You should have gotten a support CD with your new laptop which will have all the necessary drivers on it. They may not be up to date (probably are not), so once you're up and running, you can load the current ones from your thumbdrive.

I got no support CD and I bought the laptop directly from Best Buy.

A display model? Anyway, two other options are to take it back to Best Buy and ask them to load the drivers, or to burn the drivers to CD/DVD and install that way. Assuming it has an optical drive.

That shows as having an optical drive (CD/DVD). If it's working, you should be able to load the drivers via CD. If you can get on a PC with a CD burner, just copy the driver files to a CD and install that way.

Can it be a CD or does it need to be a DVD like you need for ISO images?

This model has two USB 3.0 ports and one 2.0 port. Try to connect the flash drive to the 2.0 port. That should work without a driver. And no, DVD or CD doesn't matter. Your optical drive reads both.
