Transferring image to new computer

What method works best when transferring from old to new computer without reinstalling everything.

If you're changing to a new motherboard/CPU/etc.....it matters not what imaging tool you use. A fresh OS install is always recommended, and often required.
And with a fresh OS install....all your applications as well.

The sysprep concept may work.
But me? I'd do almost the same amount of work, install new, and know that everything is OK.
