I've got a question. I just bought a new desktop, an Acer Predator G3 605. Now I want to transfer my old hdd into this new pc.
The HDD was my C:/ drive and holds a previous OS, Win7, plus all my other programs. I would like to bypass installing everything again on my new pc.
As I understand it every program on my old pc has assigned a location with a drive letter to each and every file. And when I just plug in the old HDD none of my programs will be able to find the correct location as the drive letter will have to change to, in my case, D:/
Is it possible to just simply transfer my old HDD into the new pc, delete Windows7, and skip re-installing every program.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
