So I need someone to help me with a predicament. I have purchased an SSD and would like to swap it with the HDD thats currently in my laptop. However, I would like to keep my OS and all the programmes I have: I'm not too concerned with data, I'm going to place that on an external disk.
I'm running Windows 7 64 bit on an Acer laptop which came with no recovery disk. The SSD I have is an OCZ Vertex 2 120gb which I want to swap with a western digital 640gb. The SSD was bought yesterday, so I have done nothing to the firmware etc. Can someone please help me? An idiots guide would be great! I dont want to buy a new os and re buy all the programs!
