Transferring OS from 250gb to 1tb hdd.

I cloned my 250gb hdd to my new 1tb hdd. Now my 1tb thinks it's 250gb. How do I remedy that?

What OS and version are you using?

Here's an example of Disk Management in the Computer Management Tool from Administrative Tools in Control Panel in Windows 7 Ultimate. Right click on the drive you need to extend and a pop-up menu will appear as shown in the following image. If there is unallocated space remaining in the partition you should see the Extend Volume option enabled in the menu. Click on that option and follow the instructions to extend the 250GB partition to occupy the remaining space.

It seems pointless to answer this at this point (I'm just now seeing it), but I will anyway. I used the program that I cloned and figured out how to make it recognize it was a 1 TB instead of 250 gb. I used AOMEI.
