[SOLVED] Transferring system?

Hi there, I hope all is well and that you are keeping safe.

I am considering building myself a new PC, but I am quite unsure about transferring files and such. My question is, if i were to build a new PC but simply transfer my SSD and HDD to the new build, upon booting, would my regular desktop come up with all its files etc in the right places or would I have to reinstall everything?

Transferring files is easy.
When you attach old drives to the new pc with a clean install, the files will be available to you.

If you do a clean install of windows on a new drive, apps that were installed using the old registry will not run and will need to be reinstalled.
