[SOLVED] Transferring to ssd

Hi there I plan on getting my brother a ssd and transferring his hdd boot up. I have not done it in a while now and i cant remember how much space i should get. he currently has 480 gb used on his hdd

A 1TB SSD should de the trick. I would not recommend a 512GB SSD if you have to transfer 480GB.

What is your budget for a SSD?

Are you looking for a SATA SSD or a M.2 SSD?

tbh i dont plan on transferring his hole hdd just the os i was wondering if anyone new how much gb it is give or take

You can only clone the whole drive and not just Windows. It's that or you will have to reinstall Windows.
