Transferring windows 10 to SM951 SSD drive?

Hey all, I'm trying to install/transfer windows 10 to my samsung SM951 SSD drive, but my MSI Gaming z87-g43 motherboard doesn't list it in the boot options. I've already updated the bios.
Any advice?

How is the SM951 SSD connected? that is a M.2 SSD and your board doesn't have any M.2 slots that I can see or find so it may not support booting from it.

I used this PCI adapter and stuck it in one of my PCI slots

Yea may not work. Im not an expert on the intel 8 series boards but generlly if bios is latest and it isnt seeing it it may not support it.

Did you iinstall the Samsung nvme driver first? (its about 1/2 down the page)
