Transferring Windows 10

Last year, i took the free Windows 10 upgrade from 8.1 and I bought a new motherboard today and i reinstalled windows, but now my windows activation screen is saying "Activation failed because this device doesn't have a valid digital entitlement or product key. Error code: 0x803F7001"

how do i properly get Windows 10 activated on this new board?

If you have a valid product key, use it to activate Windows:

Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & security > Activation.
Select Change product key, and then enter the 25-character product key.
