Hey everyone,
I bought a new SSD for the Windows 10 release, and was wondering if what I have in mind would work:
I plan to use Samsung's migration software to clone the Windows files from my Windows 7 install over to the SSD along with programs that I want to keep. I'll leave behind documents, music, etc and programs that I don't need. Then I'll do the upgrade to Windows 10 on the SSD and leave the old HDD as a storage drive. Would this method work?
I could also just reinstall Windows 7 on the new SSD from my disk and then upgrade to 10, but I'd prefer to keep a lot of the stuff from my current Windows install (programs I don't want to set up again, Skyrim mods, etc)
Thank you
