Specs:
Motherboard: asus z170 pro gaming
RAM :Kingston Hyper X predator 2400
CPU: i7 6700k
VGA: Asus 970 strix
psu: Corsair AX 860

So i have this strange problem where my computer won't display on computer startup sometimes, if i leave it without power and power cord removed after some hours it will.
I also have some blue screens like:

PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_EQUAL

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDED

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM

If anyone wants to read more of my problem and the tests i have done and the results of them you can see this thread http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3008466/visual-propably-motherboard-fault.html

Now to my question. I ran windows memory test with 2 RAM in slot 2 and 4 and it passed ok.I ran memory test with all 4 slots occupied and windows mentioned my memory has problem. So i used the slots 2 and 4 again and plugged the other 2 RAM that weren't tested in the 1st test and they passed ok!
So what is going wrong exactly? My Bios is the latest 12.06.
Windows Memory test results with all 4 slots occupied are here:

Solution
then you have bad ram somewhere use this on each ram module one at the time use the 5.01 auto installer for usb http://www.memtest.org/

Does your motherboard have the latest BIOS? Have you enabled XMP?

Windows memory checker is basically useless since the RAM in use by Windows can't be tested. Memtest is a much more complete program since it requires you to create a boot CD and can actually test all the RAM. So you could still have a bad stick.

Update: I used memtest86 5.01 on each module seperately. The 2 of them i let them for 2 passes and the other 2 for 3 passes because i had trouble booting with them. 1 of them i had to use it on slot 1 instead of slot 2 because the DRAM qled would keep lighting up.
Anyway no errors were detected. I am trying to make them all together to work to use them for like a day in mem test but i can't get any visual unfortunately.

i would recheck the one you had trouble with at least 5 passes each , if the give you same specs as the other also check if any of those little copper tab on the module got broke or torn out you could try to use a white scool eraser and clean gently these tab to remove oxydatioon on them . another thing those ram are same model and cas or a mix of ram .

I stronlgy believe it's the motherboard. Listen today's story.
We have 4 RAM sticks A,B,C and D.

Used A and B on slot 2 and 4. Pc was ok i worked a bit on windows.
Used A and B on slot 1 and 3. Everything is fine again.
Used C and D on slot 1 and 3. No visual.
Used C and D on slot 2 and 4. No visual.
Used A and B on slot 2 and 4. No visual( it worked before)
Used A and B on slow 1 and 3. No visual again.
After 3 hours i opened the pc again. Everything ok. I use the windows for like 30m and installed AI suite . It demanded a restart so i restarted. Had no visual again, i could hear the sound of a device being plugged after a while which means pc is in windows.I shutdown.
After 3 hours again i open the pc and iam fine, iam actually posting from it now...

Dunno all these things point to motherboard for me...

That pro gaming motherboard has had several issues and don't surprise me. Some people are just calling it a dud.
You should of bought a 2X8 set of memory.
Did you buy this memory in a 4X4GB set or 2 sets of 2X4GB?
What voltage is it set to when set at 2133?
Bump your memory voltage up by 0.2 volts.

I called asus tech support today. Even the guy there told me,off the record, that pro gaming board has issues with 6700k cpu. It must be really dud for it's money, wish i knew. Anyway to answer your question.
I bought a 4x4GB kit. It's even in the reccomended RAM of the motherboard.
My Ram Voltage at 2133 is 1,216.
To be honest i will wait for asus answer, i sent them some info, before i overclock the RAM.Never done it before and iam afraid a bit to be honest :p

Some more update:

-Open the pc in the morning, using the sticks at slots 2 and 4 . I didn't change anything from previous day. PC works ok, I use it for an hour or so with no problems.I shuttdown
-Open it again in the afternoon.Gamed for an hour, left it idle for about an hour and then gamed for about 2 hours more. No problem.
-I shutdown then add the other 2 sticks on. I have a successful boot!
-I reboot and enter memtest. Errors occur almost every second! Found 2976 errors on one pass.

I strongly believe it's the board now.Iam gonna call again tomorow and ask for RMA.

Unfortunately none of my friends has ddr4.Spoke with Asus again , they told me to send my stuff at my retailer , again, because they can't RMA if they don't know the exact problem. Iam mad as hell , they are so slowpokes and i have wasted so much money in postal.
