Hi everyone.
I have a Mac A1342 (late 2009)
When I power it up, it goes directly into the recovery screen. If I choosw to reinstall OSX, it ends up asking me for me apple id and password. When i enter it.....it tell me the install is temporarily unavailable.
After doing research, I figured out it is because my apple ID is not associated to an OSX.
After finding this out, I decided to use TransMac on my windows laptop to prep a USB stick with the OSX installation.
When booting with the USB on the Mac, I end up getting the prohibited symbol (circle with line across it).
I am out of ideas on how to get this laptop going again.
Your thoughts?
