Transparent background?

Hey guys/gals,

Here is my editing problem:

I have two videos. One video contains karaoke (sing-along) text with a solid background. The other video consists of edited home made clips. I am trying to overlay the text video into the home video, but I do not know how to get rid of the text video's solid background.

I'm desperate to find a program that will allow me to set a certain background color transparent so the video in the bottom layer will show up in place of the solid color...

Anyone know of any program? Or any solution? thanks.. 🙂

Adobe Premiere is your best bet... you can
choose any colour to be transparent,
