I am pretty happy with my Asus RT-AC66R. Besides, very few devices support 802.11ac. The only thing I have is my Galaxy S4.

I like to see TrendNet and TP-Link keeping up with the latest tech to keep the prices down.

The bigger more established industry monsters like Netgear and Linksys are dropping the ball more and more on innovation, performance, features, and pricing.
Companies like Asus, TP-Link, TrendNet, and Amped Wireless are presenting better, more reliable products with better pricing too.
This might just be my next router.

@Shovenose2 Well, Belkin bought Linksys a while back. In my experience, Belkin has historically not made the best quality equipment. To that same effect, the Linksys brand started seeing some problems when Cisco bought them..and then subsequently opted out of the home networking sector. Linksys has been bounced around for quite some time and I think their product quality has suffered because of it.
